Recognizing the vital role of academic institutions in building a more resilient and sustainable society, PASCDR advocates for the active participation of the academe beyond traditional boundaries. By mobilizing scholarly knowledge and academic resources, it supports efforts in disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development. Its core belief is that academic work should extend beyond the classroom and research halls to directly contribute to communities, influence policy, and drive practical solutions on the ground. As it advances its own institutional growth, PASCDR seeks to inspire greater academic participation in public service—bridging science, education, and society.
With over 200 members from 100 institutions across various regions in the country, we take pride in fostering collaboration, advancing research, and strengthening disaster resilience through knowledge-sharing and community engagement.
