The 3rd PASCDR National Conference

The Third National Conference with the theme, “Localizing Science-Based
and Creative Innovations for Climate Change Action and Disaster Risk Reduction Through
Partnership and Collaboration” directs our attention to the ground where the actions take
place with the people, communities, and the local institutions and how have we worked
outside the academe to bring changes that reduce vulnerabilities, understand risks, and
build resilience through partnership and collaborative endeavors. The Conference opens
its doors to our partners: the non-governmental organizations, local agencies and
institutions, and people and communities that are the ultimate actors and beneficiaries of
change.
