The Philippine Academic Society for Climate and Disaster Resilience (PASCDR), Inc. is a national network of academic experts dedicated to advancing disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change resilience across the Philippines.
Formally launched in November 2019, PASCDR brings together scholars and practitioners from top universities, government agencies, non-government organizations, and the private sector. Its primary goal is to promote research, collaboration, and action towards building safer, more resilient communities and schools in the face of both natural and human-induced hazards. In July 2023, our institution was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)—a significant step forward in our organizational development.
Our core members include DRR specialists from leading institutions such as:
- Ateneo de Manila University
- De La Salle University
- Far Eastern University
- University of the Philippines (Diliman and Manila)
- Philippines Public Safety College
Together, we represent a diverse and multidisciplinary academic community committed to meaningful action.
